The workshop was organized by the King Sejong Institute Foundation, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea.
The program was attended by numerous leaders, guests, and over 90 representatives from King Sejong Institutes and universities and Korean language training centers nationwide. Delegates exchanged teaching experiences, discussed the development direction of translation and interpretation training programs in the age of AI technology, and participated in lively and meaningful group discussions.
Representatives from the Sejong Korean Language Center (King Sejong Hanoi 1), along with a delegation of lecturers from the Korean Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the university, including Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Giang (representing King Sejong Hanoi 1 participating in the training) and Dr. Ha Minh Thanh (participating in guiding the teaching of the Translation module), actively participated in the program.
Within the framework of the workshop, the group of lecturers contributed many practical ideas, shared practical experiences, and worked with colleagues to develop effective teaching methods for translation and interpretation. In particular, the team, which included lecturers, was awarded the Best Team Award by the Organizing Committee for its creative and highly applicable presentation.
Participating in this professional development program not only contributes to improving teaching capacity and updating new trends in translation and interpretation education, but also affirms the continuous efforts of the Korean Studies faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi in training and spreading the Korean language and culture in Vietnam.
