Attending the opening ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Principal), representatives of functional departments and all training units of the School. In particular, the opening ceremony was attended by 154 graduate students and 93 domestic and international PhD students admitted in the first round of 2025.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, on behalf of the School's Board of Directors, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong sent congratulations to the new students and postgraduates of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a school with a long tradition of 80 years since the Faculty of Letters, which was established by President Ho Chi Minh himself in 1945. In the context of postgraduate training facing many difficulties, with the motto of taking quality as the top goal and philosophy in training, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is still proud to be the unit chosen by many students across the country as a place to continue to accompany them on the path to conquering the pinnacle of knowledge, in-depth, and improving professional skills. Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong shared more: In 2025, the School has fundamentally adjusted all training programs from undergraduate to postgraduate levels in a modern, updated direction and better meeting the needs of society. The adjusted training programs will be applied immediately in the 2025-2026 school year for all systems and levels. The postgraduate training process will also be standardized to ensure that all conditions are created for students and postgraduates to complete their studies and research smoothly, on schedule and with the highest quality.

On behalf of the students and postgraduates attending the 2025 Postgraduate Opening Ceremony, PhD student Nguyen Thi Van Chi (Majoring in Linguistics) expressed her pride in being one of the successful candidates and officially becoming a PhD student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. "For us, the upcoming study period will be full of challenges that require great efforts from each student and postgraduate, but with a scientific training schedule, the support of the Board of Directors, functional departments, dedicated guidance, and encouragement from teachers, we will certainly reach success."
