Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Dr. Dao Minh Quang (Chairman of the Dao Minh Quang Fund), Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang (Assistant to the Chairman of the Dao Minh Quang Fund in Hanoi) and representatives of leaders of several functional departments and faculties in the school.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his deep gratitude to Dr. Dao Minh Quang personally and the Fund for sponsoring many scholarships for students and lecturers of the School over the years. It is not only financial support for students with difficult circumstances, but also motivation, inspiration, and encouragement for them to strive to achieve success in their studies and future lives. In the past two years, the Dao Minh Quang Fund has awarded scholarships to 22 students with excellent academic results, 10 students who are Class - Youth Union - Association officials with excellent/Good academic results, and 5 students with difficult circumstances with excellent/Good academic results.
Dr. Dao Minh Quang shared: We are honored to accompany the University in training activities, supporting students in studying and scientific research with the desire to help students' dreams of studying and starting a career, especially those with difficult circumstances. Along with sponsoring scholarships, encouraging the spirit of studying and teaching of students and lecturers, this year the fund has added funding for research projects, supporting startups and the career process of many students. He hopes that the support of the Dao Minh Quang fund will be a source of motivation, nurturing the dreams of overcoming difficulties, striving in studying and living of students.
Based on the discussions, the two sides agreed to sign a framework agreement as a legal basis for cooperation between the two sides. Based on this agreement, the two sides will develop specific plans for each activity to be implemented in 2023, expressed in detailed appendices.
At the end of the working session, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan and Dr. Dao Minh Quang represented the two units to sign a cooperation and sponsorship agreement in 2023.
