The dialogue between the school leaders and students is an annual activity to create opportunities for students of all courses and majors to express their thoughts, aspirations and wishes during their studies and training at the school. The school leaders listen to the aspirations and answer questions for the students, and at the same time provide more information about the policies and directions for innovation and development of the school. In addition, the students' suggestions and initiatives can help the school make timely and appropriate adjustments in management work.
Participating in the dialogue were teachers in the School Board of Directors, leaders of functional departments, representatives of the National Defense and Security Education Center - VNU, representatives of the Information Center - Library - VNU, representatives of the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board, representatives of the Center for Physical Education and Sports - VNU, representatives of the 182 Luong The Vinh General Clinic.
The dialogue was chaired by Principal Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Principals Dang Thi Thu Huong, Lai Quoc Khanh, Dao Thanh Truong, Deputy Head of the Department of Student Affairs and Policy Dinh Tien Hieu and Secretary of the Youth Union Ta Thi Bich Ngoc.
The Organizing Committee of the dialogue received nearly 70 different opinions from students (including direct questions in the hall and sent in writing), the content focused on several main topics such as: Opening skill training courses, talk shows on diverse topics for students needs to be strengthened; Internships and practical training for third-year and final-year students need to be arranged more scientifically; Foreign language output standards for students; Scholarships and tuition fees; Support for providing documents and textbooks for studying and final exams, completing credits; Improving the wifi system, classroom facilities, increasing resting and self-study areas for students; Strengthening the activities of clubs, Youth Union and Association activities.
All questions and concerns of the students were answered in detail and satisfactorily by the Board of Directors and leaders of functional units. Concluding the dialogue, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan thanked and highly appreciated the bold and open sharing of the concerns that the students encountered during their study and scientific research at the school. The school appreciates the students' opinions and contributions and will make necessary adjustments to strengthen student support, improve facilities and equipment, reform administrative procedures, enhance the effectiveness of training, scientific research and union activities, etc. according to the motto: "Always take the learner as the center, increase support, care, and maximum companionship with all students throughout their 4-year study at the school". In the coming time, the School hopes to receive sharing and understanding from students, hoping that you will have days of study filled with joy and success, together spreading the brand and humanistic values of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
