Speaker Huong Bui's presentation revealed many interesting insights about the art of transforming a CV into a professional, visually appealing, impressive, and attractive one for recruiters, providing students with valuable secrets such as:
- Present specific, quantifiable information in a digital format so that recruiters can easily assess your skills and potential.
- The logic of the person writing the CV will always differ from the logic of the person reading the CV: Find out what the employer wants and needs in the job you are applying for.
- Being careful and meticulous is never enough: Even a very small spelling mistake or an inappropriate photo can significantly detract from a student's CV in the eyes of recruiters.
- Fit is the most important factor: Organize and present information to demonstrate that you are truly a good fit for the job and the company culture, rather than just talking about who you are and what you have to offer. Focus on quality and fit instead of quantity.
The speaker's presentation captivated the USSH students, sparking numerous questions and lively discussions. With their openness and eagerness to learn, the USSH students readily asked in-depth questions on very specific issues.
- For recent graduates with no experience, how should they handle and present information in the work experience section?
- What information in a CV will recruiters evaluate and focus on?
- How can you gain experience through part-time jobs while still in school?
- In the current era of Industry 4.0, what additional skills and knowledge do students in particular, and young workers in general, need to prepare to adapt and keep up with the changing trends in the labor market?
Recruitment and human resource management experts participating in the talk show highly appreciated the confidence and enthusiastic participation of USSH students, who asked very frank questions and clearly stated the difficulties they were facing in the process of finding suitable jobs. With their experience, the experts shared specific, open, and relatable advice.
At the same time, to address some of the concerns of students and to provide maximum support for candidates to create the most professional and creative CVs, JobOKO Company has introduced a direct CV creation tool. With special new features developed based on the actual needs surveyed from hundreds of students, we hope to provide more support for graduating students or those without work experience to access and have the opportunity to join the highly competitive job market.

After more than 4 hours of sharing and exchange, the program concluded successfully. According to the students' feedback after attending, the talk show was a useful and memorable experience, through which they gained valuable experience not only for improving their CVs but also for developing additional skills to achieve greater career success.
