In the 2022-2023 academic year, VNU is honored to have a new scholarship program sponsored by Vingroup, which is the Vingroup - VNU Companion Scholarship Program. The scholarship program is the result of realizing the content of the Cooperation Agreement between Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and VinAcademy Education and Training Company Limited (VinAcademy) and signed on March 30, 2023.
Within the framework of the scholarship, each student will receive 25 million VND/academic year. The total maximum scholarship value is 100 million VND/student/04 academic years if the student maintains the academic results and training according to the scholarship regulations.
Deputy Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs, VNU Nguyen Minh Truong congratulated 20 VNU students who excellently won Vingroup's companion scholarships.
Head of Academic Cooperation Department, VinUni University Bui Thanh Hanh said, Vingroup always welcomes talents, young people with aspirations, passion and contributions to the community.
The two students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities who received the scholarship this time were carefully selected by the Office of Political Affairs and Student Affairs. After that, the two students had to undergo a direct interview with a representative of the sponsoring unit to demonstrate their abilities and future development orientation.

Hoang Van Phuc (student of K67 International School of CLC), a male student from Lam Dong, despite his difficult family circumstances, has made great efforts in studying, not only achieving good academic results but also being an active class officer in many activities.
+ Third prize in the provincial science competition for high school students in the 2021-2022 school year;
+ Encouragement Prize for Student Scientific Research in the 2022-2023 school year;
+ Delegates participating in the program "Lancang-Mekong Youth Online: Lancang-Mekong Regional Governance" in 2023;
+ Volunteer at Vietnam Youth's Policy Initiative 2023.
Be Hoai Ngoc (student of K66 Public Relations, Institute of Journalism and Communication) is an ethnic minority student (Nung ethnic group) in a difficult area, having to go to boarding school throughout middle school and high school, but he has strived to achieve many achievements:
+ Second Prize for Student Scientific Research, 2022-2023 school year.
+ Participate in volunteer programs "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children", "Green Summer" in Van Han commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province.
+ Be a member who contributes to the development of the MC - PEM Presentation Club in the 2021 - 2022 school year.
+ Active member of the Organizing Committee of the 2022 SJC Welcome Event series of the Institute of Journalism and Communication.
Expressing his joy and pride in receiving the scholarship, student Hoang Van Phuc said: “The scholarship is not only a recognition and a great source of encouragement, but also contains hearts and sharing, helping us have faith in striving to rise up in life. Along with that are opportunities to help us have a more complete learning path, freely explore new knowledge and maintain our passion on the path of scientific research.”
