More valuable scholarships are available for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On July 13, 2023, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in collaboration with Vingroup Corporation awarded 20 scholarships to outstanding VNU students, with each scholarship worth 25 million VND per student per academic year. The total value of scholarships sponsored this academic year is 500 million VND. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities had two outstanding students who received these scholarships.
For the 2022-2023 academic year, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) is honored to have a new scholarship program sponsored by Vingroup Corporation: the Vingroup - VNU Companion Scholarship Program. This scholarship program is the realization of the cooperation agreement between Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and VinAcademy Education and Training Company Limited (VinAcademy), signed on March 30, 2023.
Under the scholarship program, each student will receive 25 million VND per academic year. The total scholarship value is a maximum of 100 million VND per student over four academic years, provided the student maintains the academic and conduct standards as stipulated in the scholarship regulations.

According to Bui Thanh Hanh, Head of Academic Cooperation at VinUni University, Vingroup always welcomes talented individuals, young people with aspirations, passions, and a desire to contribute to the community.
The two students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities who received scholarships this time were carefully selected by the Department of Politics and Student Affairs. Afterward, the two students had to go through a direct interview with representatives of the sponsoring organization to demonstrate their abilities and future development plans.

Hoang Van Phuc (a student of the K67 International Studies CLC program), a male student from Lam Dong province, despite his difficult family circumstances, has made great efforts in his studies, achieving good academic results and being an active class officer in many activities.
+ Third prize in the provincial science competition for high school students in the 2021-2022 school year;
+ Encouragement Award for Student Scientific Research in the academic year 2022-2023;
+ Delegates participating in the "Lancang-Mekong Youth Online: Lancang-Mekong Regional Governance" program in 2023;
+ Participated as a volunteer in the Vietnam Youth's Policy Initiative 2023.

Be Hoai Ngoc (a student in the K66 Public Relations program at the Institute of Journalism and Communication) is a student from an ethnic minority group (Nung ethnic group) in a disadvantaged area. Despite attending boarding school throughout her junior and senior high school years, she has strived to achieve many accomplishments:
+ Second Prize in the Student Scientific Research Competition, academic year 2022-2023.
+ Participated in volunteer programs such as "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" and "Green Summer" in Van Han commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province.
+ A member who contributed to the development of the MC Presentation Club - PEM during the 2021-2022 school year.
+ Active member of the Organizing Committee for the 2022 SJC Welcome Events series of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training.

Expressing his joy and pride in receiving the scholarship, student Hoang Van Phuc said: “The scholarship is not only a recognition and a great source of encouragement, but also embodies kindness and sharing, giving us faith in striving to succeed in life. Along with that, it provides opportunities to help us have a more fulfilling academic path, to freely explore new knowledge, and to maintain our passion for scientific research.”

Upon receiving the valuable scholarships, the two students also expressed their gratitude to Hanoi National University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vingroup Corporation for their continuous support throughout their studies and lives.
