While in 12th grade, Nguyen Van Nam caused a sensation on social media with his cover video of the song "Let's Get Married." Currently, Nam is a final-year student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With his sweet voice and vibrant enthusiasm, even though he's not pursuing a professional singing career, he chooses to keep his passion for art alive in his own way.
Nguyen Van Nam, born in 2001 in Bac Ninh, is a student majoring in Tourism and Travel Service Management, Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He shared that he chose Event Management as his specialization because he loves the dynamic and innovative aspects of events-related work.

This young student from the Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is pursuing his own unique path in the world of art.

Although his teachers and friends once expected him to pursue a career in the arts, Nam chose his own path. He has been continuously striving to improve himself and prove that his choice was the right one.
The saying, "If you truly have talent, you won't be afraid of bad luck," seems to apply to Nam. Not only is he a familiar face in school and faculty arts activities, but Nam is also widely known as the head of the SOL Art Club. This art club is affiliated with the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
With nearly 13 years of establishment and development, SOL primarily operates in the field of performing arts: singing and dancing. The club has implemented numerous outstanding activities both domestically and internationally, aiming to contribute to building and spreading the image of talented and dynamic students of the Faculty of Humanities.
Always enthusiastic and dedicated in the arts activities of the department, the school, etc.
The result of his diligent efforts is the transformation of a boy who was once afraid of the stage into Nguyen Van Nam, with impressive personal achievements.
"I've loved holding a microphone and performing on stage since I was a first-grade boy. I remember in elementary school I had Ms. Tuyet, and in middle school I had Ms. Thao - music teachers who motivated me and instilled in me a passion for singing," Nam recalled.
Although he's not currently pursuing a professional singing career as the girls advised, he's chosen to work in event organization and management. This is also a job that's somewhat related to arts and entertainment. Besides that, this young man hopes to follow in their footsteps, exploring and conveying the beautiful spiritual values of music to everyone.
Thanks to his enthusiastic and active participation in cultural and artistic activities, Nguyen Van Nam won the Youth Humanities Award in the "Outstanding Artistic Figure" category in 2022.
An artistic heart with a burning desire to inspire future generations.
The club leader is highly responsible and eager to spread positive artistic values to the members.
Previously, Nam also had the honor of receiving numerous awards for his merits and contributions from the Hanoi City Student Association, the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
In the eyes of his teachers, friends, and club members, Nam is a thoughtful and responsible student, friend, and club leader. Behind the moments of brilliance on stage is a Nguyễn Văn Nam who is always diligently striving and working tirelessly. In every task assigned to him, he hopes to complete it meticulously and perfectly.
“Balancing everything is truly not easy. When I first took on the role of SOL team leader, I tended to take on everything myself. However, after a while, I learned to share responsibilities with others. Through that, I gained a lot of experience, built more confidence, and felt more comfortable working in a team. I am very fortunate to always have talented and dedicated friends and colleagues. The experience in organizing and managing teams from SOL is also an advantage for my major and the event organizing career I am pursuing,” Nam shared.
Every stage is a place where Nam passionately dedicates himself to his art, pouring his heart and soul into his craft.

We wish young student Nguyen Van Nam continued success on his chosen path.
For Nam, SOL is not just a place to learn and express himself. It's a place where "SOL is home," a place where people are connected, close-knit, and can freely share and grow together. As the leader of SOL, Nam is always aware of the values he needs to contribute to spreading positive values within the organization.
“As the ‘eldest brother’ of the SOL family, I always encourage you all to shine and give your all everywhere, on every stage. No matter what happens, I only hope that you will always maintain your love and passion to overcome difficulties, conquer adversity, so that you are never forgotten and no one is left behind,” Nam shared.
With what he has done and is doing, he hopes to continue being an enthusiastic senior, spreading and "passing on" the passion for art to future generations of SOL students in particular, as well as other students in general. With such clear goals and directions, we will surely see a more mature and successful image of Nguyen Van Nam in the not-too-distant future.
