The world that Gen Z is entering is different and in many ways more challenging than that of their parents. It is a world where the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping every aspect of social life. In this context, the question of the role and core values ​​of humans has become more urgent than ever. Equipping Gen Z with a solid foundation of thinking and profound human values ​​is no longer an option, but an essential requirement for Gen Z to master the future. This is the mission that the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU has been pursuing.

On the occasion of the 114th anniversary of General Vo Nguyen Giap's birthday (August 25, 1911 - August 25, 2025), on June 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized a national scientific conference with the theme "General Vo Nguyen Giap - Life and Thought".

This is the topic of the scientific seminar chaired by the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, organized on January 7, 2025 with the participation of Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thai Viet - speaker, senior lecturer of the Faculty of Communication and Foreign Culture, Diplomatic Academy.

I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about the years of standing on the podium while doing scientific research in the fields of Philosophy and Religious Studies gave me admiration and respect for a teacher and scientist who has devoted his whole life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

(Thanhnien) To create a space for exchange for those who study philosophy and love philosophy, Dr. Trinh Huu Tue, in collaboration with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, conducts a course on Analytical Philosophy for lecturers, students and interested people.

[VOV2] Our country's education is currently focusing on narrow and specialized fields. But in the digital age, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, due to the needs of the human resource market, interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary training models have outstanding advantages.

On January 31, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Faculty of Philosophy welcomed and discussed cooperation with the Institute of Marxist Studies of Tsinghua University (China).
