(Nhan Dan Newspaper) This morning, December 27th, in Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an international conference on the theme: "The Formation of Marxism Before 1848 – Some Theoretical and Practical Issues".
On the morning of October 4, 2025, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), the Philosophy Branch of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held its General Assembly for the 2026-2030 term. The Assembly took place in a democratic atmosphere, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the members towards the development of research, teaching, application, and dissemination of philosophy in the new context.
The world that Generation Z is entering is different and, in many respects, more challenging than the world of their parents' generation. It is a world where the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping every aspect of social life. In this context, the question of the core role and values of human beings has become more urgent than ever. Equipping oneself with a solid foundation of critical thinking and profound humanistic values is no longer an option, but a necessity for Generation Z to master the future. This is the mission that the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has been pursuing.
On the occasion of the 114th anniversary of the birth of General Vo Nguyen Giap (August 25, 1911 - August 25, 2025), on June 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University Hanoi, organized a national scientific conference with the theme "General Vo Nguyen Giap - Life and Thought".
This was the topic of a scientific seminar organized by the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on January 7, 2025, with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thai Viet - speaker and senior lecturer of the Faculty of Communication and Foreign Culture, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about his many years of teaching alongside his scientific research in Philosophy and Religious Studies filled me with admiration and respect for an educator and scientist who has dedicated his entire life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
(Thanhnien) To create a space for exchange among philosophy students and those who love philosophy, Dr. Trinh Huu Tue, in collaboration with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is conducting a course on the Fundamentals of Analytical Philosophy for lecturers, students, and interested individuals.
[VOV2] Currently, education in our country focuses on narrow and specialized fields. However, in the digital age, with artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, due to the demands of the labor market, interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary training models have outstanding advantages.
On January 31, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Faculty of Philosophy held a meeting and exchanged ideas on cooperation with the Institute of Marxist Studies of Tsinghua University (China).
