His life and career are intertwined with the most important milestones of the Vietnamese revolution, from the early years of nation-building and defense to the unification and construction of the country in peacetime. The General's name has gone down in national history as a vivid and moving symbol of patriotism, intellect, courage, and great character.

Dr. Pham Hoang Giang - Head of the Philosophy Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, delivered a speech at the conference.

Professor Nguyen Quang Hung - Senior Lecturer, Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, summarized the conference.
The papers submitted to the conference demonstrated a spirit of scientific responsibility, profound respect and admiration for the General, and clearly reflected the depth of thought, theoretical stature, and practical value that his life and career left for posterity.
The articles focus on three main themes: the life and career of General Vo Nguyen Giap in the flow of national history; the ideology of General Vo Nguyen Giap - a great ideological and cultural legacy of the Vietnamese nation; and the historical significance and lessons of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
The presentations clarified the key stages in the revolutionary life of the General, from a teacher and journalist to a military leader, a brilliant general, and a steadfast revolutionary fighter. Through this, researchers deeply analyzed his role, position, and special influence in key periods of modern Vietnamese history, especially the Dien Bien Phu Victory in 1954 and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in 1975 – victories of decisive significance in the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Regarding the ideology of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the presentations also clarified the depth of theory and practice in his military thought, strategy, and command art, especially the principle of "people's war" - a unique military innovation in the history of world revolution. Many articles delved into the humanistic values, revolutionary ethics, and personal fortitude of the General when executing pivotal orders, particularly his proactive spirit and responsibility in implementing President Ho Chi Minh's directive "Generals in the field."
Scientists also analyzed his approachable leadership style, serious academic spirit, and lifelong self-learning example (from a teacher to a researcher with famous historical works such as the Complete Memoirs of General Vo Nguyen Giap), showing a harmonious combination of intellectual stature and personal virtue.

Regarding its historical value, significance, and lessons, many studies have approached General Vo Nguyen Giap as a figure of global stature, considered by international researchers as a "living legend of the 20th century," a symbol of the strength of a small nation capable of defeating much larger forces through willpower, intellect, and patriotism. From this, many scholars have suggested the need for deeper and more systematic research into the strategic thinking, philosophy of action, and personality of the General as a unique cultural and spiritual asset in the context of the country entering a new stage of development.
Delegates emphasized that General Vo Nguyen Giap was a living embodiment of the perfect blend of traditional qualities and modern spirit, of military prowess and intellectual and cultural depth. The General is compelling proof of the strength of a person when intellect is closely intertwined with national ideals, when revolutionary ethics are coupled with concrete, decisive actions for the people and the Fatherland.
