University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

From October 20-24, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the 7th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO – 2010) in Nanning City, Guangxi (China).

This morning, October 29, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) held the opening ceremony for the 2010 postgraduate training course.

"Southeast Asia in the Eastern World" was the theme of the national scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies this morning, October 26, 2010.

On the morning of October 13, 2010, Professor Vincent JH Houben (Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies, Humboldt University) gave a presentation to faculty and students of the Faculty of International Studies. This was part of a series of activities leading up to the 15th anniversary of the Faculty of International Studies.

On October 11, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and E-Sarn University (Thailand) signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities.

The opening ceremony for the 4th cohort of the French-language Master's programs in Organizational Management (MADO) and Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychology (PDEA), academic year 2010-2011, took place on the morning of October 11th. This is a joint training program between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the University of Toulouse II-Le Mirail (France).

On October 9, 2010, the Department of Philosophy held a graduation ceremony for four students from the K52 cohort (QH-2007-X) who graduated early. These students were: Dong Thi Chinh, Ninh Thi Anh Hong, Nguyen Thi Phuong, and Duong Thi Oanh Thanh.

An article by author Nguyen Van Hoan (published in "100 Portraits of a Century of National Universities" - 2006) introduces the portrait of Professor Dang Thai Mai - who contributed to building the initial foundation of the Faculty of Literature in Hanoi (now the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
