In the vibrant atmosphere of the Lunar New Year 2021, which also marks the "first spring" for the teachers and students of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, the students have completed and "released" their Tet (Lunar New Year) issue of the school's magazine, a home-grown publication that is nonetheless professional and full of emotion.

On February 2nd, 2020, the Conference summarizing the training work of the first semester and the enrollment plan for 2021 was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, chaired by Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector in charge of the University). The meeting was attended by representatives from the leadership of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities and various departments and functional units of the University.

The opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year at the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities took place on the morning of September 5, 2020. The event attracted significant attention from the media and the public. Much expectation and faith were placed in this school – the only specialized high school in the country focusing on social sciences and humanities, tasked with training and nurturing talents in these fields, aiming for high quality and international integration.

Emotional and proud: Opening ceremony of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities

This morning (September 5, 2020), the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 academic year for the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities (THPT Chuyên KHXH&NV) was solemnly held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The ceremony created an atmosphere of emotion and pride for the distinguished guests, teachers, and 148 students of the first graduating class of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. Much faith and hope were entrusted to this first opening ceremony.

On July 31, 2020, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to present the decisions recognizing the Heads of Departments and teachers of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Principal of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities), along with representatives from the Personnel Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and teachers from the High School for Gifted Students.
Hơn 800 thí sinh tham gia kì thi vào Trường THPT Chuyên KHXH&NV trong hai ngày 12-13/7/2020.

Over 800 candidates participated in the entrance exam for the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities on July 12-13, 2020.

On July 12-13, 2020, the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities completed its first entrance exam with 824 students participating. The competition ratios for the Literature, History, and Geography specializations were 1/20, 1/7, and 1/7 respectively.
