In the 2023-2024 school year, the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities will enroll 170 students, including: Specialized system (including Literature, History and Geography) and High-quality system.
Candidates have completed 04 written exams including: Literature, Math, English and specialized subjects (specialized Literature, specialized History, specialized Geography). The admission score is the total score of the subjects on a 10-point scale, specialized subjects multiplied by a coefficient of 2 and no subject can be below 4 points, specialized subjects must be from 6.0 points or higher. The school does not add priority points in admission.
Although it has only been established for 3 years, the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities has achieved very proud achievements, both in nurturing excellent students as well as in the quality of mass training. With the first graduating class, most of them were directly admitted to top universities in Vietnam or received prestigious scholarships to study abroad. Therefore, in 2023, the school's 10th grade enrollment has received great attention from parents, 9th grade students and the whole society with more than 1,500 candidates registering for the exam.

On June 30, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities completed all the work of marking exams, announcing candidate scores, announcing benchmark scores, marking re-examinations and widely announcing on the school's communication channels. And on July 1, 2023, the school organized admission for all students admitted to the Specialized Program and the High-Quality Program for the 10th grade entrance exam in 2023.
The school entrance day is not only a festival for students admitted to their dream school but also a happy day for their teachers, family and friends.
Welcoming the new students were not only the teachers, but also many senior students of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities with their friendliness, closeness and very specific advice about the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and club activities. It seemed that the new students, even though they were coming to the school for the first time, were no longer shy or hesitant but quickly integrated into the common activities, opened up and chatted happily like friends they had known for a long time.
