On July 31, 2020, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to present the decisions recognizing the Heads of Departments and teachers of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Principal of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities), along with representatives from the Personnel Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and teachers from the High School for Gifted Students.

Welcome to the first generation of staff and teachers of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities.

The teaching staff of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities includes part-time staff from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, along with candidates who passed the teacher recruitment exam recently organized by the University. With the motto that the teaching staff is the decisive factor in the quality of education, the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities conducted the teacher recruitment exam seriously, honestly, and objectively. Following the exam, the selection committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities selected candidates with outstanding work and academic achievements, qualifications, abilities, and qualities to fill teaching positions at the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities.

At the ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh commended the tireless efforts of the faculty and staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in building and realizing the idea of ​​establishing the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities. The decision to establish the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities was officially issued by the Hanoi People's Committee on October 9, 2019; the official operating license was granted by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training on May 22, 2020. The Rector also extended his congratulations and expressed his hopes for the new faculty and staff of the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities, believing that they will successfully fulfill their duties.

On behalf of the leadership of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu shared the milestones in the process of building the strategy, preparing facilities, recruiting teachers, and implementing the school's enrollment plan. The High School for Social Sciences and Humanities officially began its enrollment process in mid-July. The road ahead is still full of challenges, but the school's staff is committed to making every effort to transform this into a strong specialized school, building trust among students, parents, and society.

Representing the newly appointed teachers, Ms. Pham Hai Linh (Teacher in the Literature Department of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities) She expressed her emotion and joy at being part of the teaching staff of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities. She thanked the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities for their care and support; and pledged to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to the development of the school as well as to the cause of training elites in the field of social sciences and humanities for the country.
