On April 12-13, 2025, the Institute of Policy and Management (IPAM) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized the first NoCode training course for faculty and prospective students. The program was supported by technology partners including Zoho Creator, VISIA, i3 Network Systems, and Citizen Developer – marking a practical start to the journey of popularizing technology in the social sciences and humanities.

In the digital age, where technology is leading change in every field, a question is becoming increasingly urgent: Is technology capable of solving all the problems of humanity, society, and the planet? Or do we need a humanistic "map" to guide technological development in a sustainable way and deliver real value? Many leaders of large corporations around the world have affirmed that technology can only reach its peak when guided by humanistic thinking and a deep understanding of society, culture, and people... But in Vietnam, social sciences and humanities still face considerable prejudice, being considered an academic field, "far removed from reality," or "impractical." A reporter from the Vietnam Science and Technology Magazine had a conversation with Associate Professor Dr. Do Huong Lan - Director of the Institute of Policy and Management, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, about this issue.

As part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Institute for Policy and Management and the 20th anniversary of its cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Federal Republic of Germany), the Institute for Policy and Management organized an international scientific seminar on the theme "Social Change and Issues of Science, Technology & Innovation Management in Vietnam".

On November 3, 2023, the Institute for Policy and Management celebrated its 10th anniversary and 20 years of cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, Federal Republic of Germany. This event marked the Institute's significant development and notable contributions to policy and management research in Vietnam, and provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of collaborative projects with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Southeast Asia – Hanoi Representative Office – focusing on research in policy, science and education, socio-ecological transformation, and sustainable development.

With its continued recognition as a key research center of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi in January 2023, the Institute of Policy and Management (IPAM) under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has affirmed its scientific position with an applied research orientation in the field of policy and management science.
