On this special anniversary, the Institute of Policy and Management organizes an international seminar with the theme “Social change and issues of science, technology and innovation management in Vietnam”. The seminar will focus on analyzing the relationship between social change and the development of science, technology and innovation; and issues of science, technology and innovation management in Vietnam in the context of integration with the region and the world, before the impacts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the current social changes that are taking place very strongly.
The seminar will be attended by scientists, experts from universities, research institutes and international guests from the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. Through exchange activities and sharing of research results, scientists will discuss current issues of science, technology and innovation management. These are also suggestions to help orient the Institute's key research issues in the coming time.

The Institute of Policy and Management (IPAM)was established under Decision 876 QD/XHNV-TC issued on April 16, 2013 by the President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Institute was upgraded based on the development achievements of the Center for Policy Research and Analysis (CEPSTA) - one of the centers ranked in the group of research and training support centers operating effectively with a long history of policy research and training in Vietnam since 1991.
In 2015, the Institute was recognized as a Strong Research Group on Policy and Management.
From 2018 to present, the Institute has been recognized as a Key Research Center at VNU level.
