The 2nd Vietnam-China Journalism and Media Training Dialogue, organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the University of Science - Hue University and the Communication University of China, was held on December 4, 2025, in Hue City. The conference brought together over 100 delegates from nearly 30 training institutions and research institutes in Vietnam and China. The conference agreed on several strategic cooperation directions aimed at improving the quality of journalism and media training and research in the post-digital context.

Within the framework of the "Vietnam-Korea Youth Cultural Exchange Program on Zen Meditation and the East Asian Youth Cultural Exchange Day on Zen Meditation 2025," students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (USSH) participated in many meaningful activities with Korean students.

Through valuable press materials, propaganda posters, and distinctive sketches, the exhibition "Memories of Independence Day and Heritage for Young People" not only recreates the national spirit on this historic day but also inspires pride, a desire to contribute, and a sense of responsibility to preserve the heritage of independence for future generations.

However, the core element remains always people – journalists with integrity, responsibility, and a spirit of service to society.

The documentary film "Vietnam 1954 - Glory and Tears," directed by a group of lecturers and former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, won the top prize - Award A - at the 19th National Journalism Awards Ceremony - 2024, held on the evening of June 21, 2025 in Hanoi.

This was one of the topics discussed at the scientific forum "Connecting Technology and Innovation in Vietnamese Journalism and Media 2025" with the theme "The Power of AI for Young Communicators," organized by the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi (SJC) this morning, June 12, 2025.

On June 12, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will organize the forum "Connecting Technology and Innovation in Vietnamese Journalism and Communication 2025" with the theme: "The Power of AI for Young Communicators".

The opportunities and challenges facing journalism in the face of the explosion of artificial intelligence were discussed from multiple perspectives at the seminar "Who are journalists? Where is journalism headed when AI is increasingly skilled at content creation?". The seminar, held on the morning of April 8th at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), attracted over 300 experts, journalists, researchers, lecturers, and students. The event was jointly organized by the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, the Digital Cafe Club (CFS), the Institute for Policy and Media Development Research (IPS), and VietTimes Magazine.

Like any honest work, the work of journalists produces valuable information for social life. The diligence and seriousness of the journalistic workforce have contributed to a vibrant press that is increasingly moving towards "professionalism, humanity, and modernity."

The Party Congress of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, held on March 6, 2025, reviewed the leadership work of the Party Branch during the 2022-2025 term and determined the direction and tasks for the 2025-2027 term with many key priorities.
