This was affirmed by the representative of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the launching ceremony of "Vietnamese Language Honor Day" and the contest "Searching for Vietnamese Language Ambassadors Abroad in 2025" organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (NVNONN) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the afternoon of March 29, 2025 in Hanoi.

After 2 weeks of experiencing learning activities, practical activities and exploring Vietnamese culture and landmarks with lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the students of the 2024 Training Course on Vietnamese Language Teaching Methods for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers were able to cultivate more love for their mother tongue, thereby spreading Vietnamese to countries around the world.

The international scientific conference “Research and teaching Vietnamese studies and Vietnamese language in a cross-cultural context” jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM on the morning of December 21, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City attracted the participation of many prestigious domestic and international scientists.

The training course on Teaching Vietnamese for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers is an annual activity organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) to promote the preservation of Vietnamese language and culture around the world.

On October 26, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a ceremony to hand over the Decision on Issuing and Assigning the Training Task of the Doctoral Program in Vietnamese Studies, specializing in Vietnamese Language and Vietnamese Studies to the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language (VSL). At the ceremony, the Faculty signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies (VNS), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City in many fields.
