(November 9) Celebrating 50 years of tradition of the Faculty of Foreign Languages

50TH ANNIVERSARY OF TRADITION
FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES – HANOI UNIVERSITY
(1958–2008)

From the first foreign language teachers teaching at Hanoi University in 1956, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​was established in 1958, and in 1978 became the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Hanoi University, where over the past 30 years, generations of students of the Faculty have been trained by teachers, graduated and have achieved success in many different fields, holding different positions. It has been nearly 10 years since the last language major students of the Faculty graduated, and for the first class, the time away from school was even longer - exactly 25 years.

To have the opportunity for teachers and alumni to return to their old school, meet their old teachers and friends, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​- University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Department of Foreign Languages ​​- University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the twin sisters (separated) from the former Department of Foreign Languages ​​together with the TNN Alumni Association decided to organize the 50th Anniversary of Tradition at Thuong Dinh, where TNN teachers and students together went through their student life.

We would like to invite teachers who have taught foreign languages ​​at Hanoi National University, currently teaching at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​- University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Department of Foreign Languages ​​- University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, teachers who are collaborators teaching foreign languages ​​for the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and the two Departments in the past and present, and former students of Foreign Languages ​​from all training systems (Regular, Non-Regular, Extended, Non-Concentrated Regular) to attend the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Tradition of the Department of Foreign Languages, Hanoi National University (1958-2008).

Time: 8am November 9, 2008 (Sunday)

Location: Hall, 7th Floor, Building T5 (behind the old Union Building), University of Science, 334 Nguyen Trai - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi.
