CASA trains instructors.

From February 28th to April 25th, 2013, CASA organized a training course on English listening and speaking skills, presented by Dr. Paul Adams, a visiting lecturer at the Department of Linguistics.The training course is designed to help lecturers improve their English listening and speaking skills, including specific content such as: effective listening strategies and skills; improving pronunciation and vocabulary; secrets to understanding English speakers and techniques for speaking like a native speaker; the difference between reading, writing, and speaking English effectively… In addition, from March 7th to May 2nd, Dr. Paul Adams will lead a series of seminars to provide guidance and advice on scientific research for interested lecturers, staff, and students. The seminar series is designed to provide advice on all aspects of scientific research, from choosing a topic to preparing to write a research paper. Researchers can receive direct advice on their personal projects as well as exchange and learn from the research experiences of others. These two series of activities by CASA are part of the faculty support program for the 2013-2014 academic year.
