From February 28 to April 25, 2013, CASA organized a training course on English Listening and Speaking Skills presented by Dr. Paul Adams - a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Linguistics.The training course is designed to help lecturers improve their English listening and speaking skills, including specific contents: effective listening strategies and skills; improving pronunciation and vocabulary; tips for understanding English speakers and techniques for speaking like a native; the difference between reading, writing and speaking real English... In addition, from March 7 to May 2, Dr. Paul Adams will chair a series of seminars to provide guidance and advice on scientific research for lecturers, staff and interested students. The series of seminars is designed to provide advice on all aspects of scientific research activities, from choosing a topic to preparing to write a research paper. Researchers can receive direct advice on their individual projects as well as exchange and learn research experiences from others. The above two series of activities of CASA are part of the program of activities to support lecturers in the 2013-2014 school year.
