Artist Miyata Tenpuh was born in 1962, started learning calligraphy at the age of 5 and devoted himself to it until the age of 19. The artist is highly appreciated in Japan as well as abroad not only for his basic and standard calligraphy but also for his artistic calligraphy techniques. The artist has received many domestic and international awards, such as the Nice Award at the Art Exchange Exhibition of the Marc Chagall National Museum Friendship Association (France); the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award (Japan); the Honorary Consul General Award of Greece; the Picasso National Museum Friendship Award (France)...
