1. TUITION FEES, CHARGES AND OTHER CHARGES FROM STUDENTS (ACADEMIC YEAR 2009-2010)
- Tuition fees:
+ Full-time university program: 64,000 VND/credit (equivalent to a tuition fee of 240,000 VND/month/student)
+ University with international standards: common courses with the regular undergraduate program cost 64,000 VND/credit, while individual courses cost 82,000 VND/credit (equivalent to a tuition fee of 320,000 VND/month/student).
+ University-based part-time study program offered on campus: 300,000 VND/month/student
+ Part-time university programs offered in various localities: 350,000 VND – 380,000 VND/month/student
+ Postgraduate studies: 270,000 VND/month/student
+ Postgraduate studies with international standards: 400,000 VND/month
+ Postgraduate students: 330,000 VND/month
+ Doctoral students pursuing international-standard qualifications: 500,000 VND/month
+ Regular university programs for foreigners: 4,800 USD/course
+ Doctoral program for foreign students: 3,200 USD/course
+ Doctoral program for foreign students who already hold a master's degree: 2,310 USD/course
+ Doctoral program for foreigners without a master's degree: 4,560 USD/course
- Fee rates:
+ Admission to regular undergraduate and postgraduate programs will be conducted according to the regulations of Hanoi National University.
+ University admissions for part-time study programs will be based on actual costs.
+ Health check-ups, student ID card issuance, etc., based on actual costs.
+ Recruitment of staff in accordance with regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the State.
- Other fees:
+ Support for postgraduate training for students not funded by the state: 3,100,000 VND/year.
+ Support for doctoral training for students not funded by the state: 5,200,000 VND/year.
+ Tuition fees for supplementary knowledge classes: Collected based on the actual costs of each class.
+ Tuition fees for short-term courses: Charged based on the actual costs of each course.
+ Tuition fees for international joint training programs: Collected according to the agreement between the two parties.
+ Tuition fee for dual degree undergraduate program: 225,000 VND/credit

- Student scholarships and social allowances are awarded per semester, each semester lasting 5 months, based on the student's academic performance and conduct in the preceding semester. The scholarship fund meets the prescribed level (15% of tuition fees for the regular program). For the 2009-2010 academic year, the amount was 2,250,000,000 VND.
- Students in internationally accredited programs are awarded scholarships, up to a maximum of 70% of the student body. Scholarships are awarded at the four levels mentioned above. For the first semester of the course, scholarships are awarded based on entrance exam results and high school academic performance.
- Students who are ethnic minorities from mountainous regions receive a subsidy of 140,000 VND per month according to current regulations.
- Students who are orphans, having lost both parents and lacking guardians, receive a monthly allowance of 100,000 VND according to current regulations.
- Students with disabilities. The current allowance is 100,000 VND per month.
Students eligible for the aforementioned social welfare benefits, if they meet the criteria for academic achievement scholarships, will receive the scholarships as stipulated.
3. AUDIT RESULTS FOR 2008
- Results of the 2008 financial audit of Hanoi National University: Basically, the university has met the tasks assigned by Hanoi National University, complied with accounting regulations, and fully reflected and tracked all revenue sources. Expenditures are legal and valid; accounting documents are complete and clear, generally meeting the requirements of financial management.
- Results of the 2008 budget audit by the State Audit Office: The audit has been completed, but no official conclusions have been reached yet.
4. AVERAGE MONTHLY INCOME OF LECTURERS, ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, AND SUPPORT STAFF (2008 AND ESTIMATED FOR 2009)
Average income in 2008: 4,200,000 VND/month.
- Number of staff with an income exceeding 5,000,000 VND/month: 126 (25.87%)
- Number of staff with income below VND 2,000,000/month: 66 (13.55%)
