The opening ceremony of the 5th Ho Chi Minh Thought Lecturer Training Course took place on April 25, 2010 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The course had 39 students who are cadres who are doing research and teaching on Ho Chi Minh Thought in many provinces and cities across the country.
The opening ceremony of the 5th Ho Chi Minh Thought Lecturer Training Course took place on April 25, 2010 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The course had 39 students who are cadres who are doing research and teaching on Ho Chi Minh Thought in many provinces and cities across the country.Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Principal of the University) emphasized the important role of those who research and teach Ho Chi Minh's ideology and hoped that they would contribute to spreading and expanding the understanding of the beauty and greatness of Uncle Ho's personality and ideology to everyone and to the whole society. Professor Dr. Phung Huu Phu (Deputy Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Department, Head of the Department of Political Science) highly appreciated the importance of organizing this class in the current context: "It has been 40 years since Uncle Ho passed away, especially in the context of the current volatile world situation, the things Uncle Ho advised when he was alive have increasingly proven their guiding value". Professor. Phung Huu Phu also believes that teaching and learning about Ho Chi Minh's ideology must aim at making people have a correct understanding of the development situation of the country and the world, fueling the fire of belief in the inevitable victory of the Vietnamese revolution and Ho Chi Minh's ideology. In addition, teaching and learning need to have innovation in methods, especially in the way of approaching problems, the way of imparting knowledge as well as two-way exchange between lecturers and students. The course will take place from May to August 2010. The basic knowledge provided to students in this course includes the following contents: - Ho Chi Minh's ideology on national issues and national liberation revolution; - Ho Chi Minh's ideology on socialism and the transitional path to socialism in Vietnam; - Ho Chi Minh's ideology on great national unity and international unity; - Ho Chi Minh's ideology on the Communist Party of Vietnam; - Ho Chi Minh's ideology on democracy; - Ho Chi Minh's thoughts: State of the people, by the people, for the people; - Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on culture, ethics and building new people. In addition, students will be introduced to supplementary knowledge about: the situation of Ho Chi Minh research; traditional Vietnamese cultural values and their influence on Ho Chi Minh; Western and Eastern cultural values influencing Ho Chi Minh; theories and practices of building socialism in the world; some state models in the world...
