The global Youth As Researchers (YAR) initiative on Covid-19 calls for the involvement of young people in researching the impact of Covid-19 and the responses and changes made by young people to address these challenges. UNESCO, in partnership with the National University of Ireland Galway and Pennsylvania State University, is organizing this project to help young people conduct research through training, mentoring, and project coordination.
UNESCO is seeking young candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Ages 18 to 35
- An interest in research and prior research experience are an advantage.
- Internet access is available.
- Commitment to dedicating a maximum of 10 hours per week to the project from July to October (expected).
- Interested in development issues
- Use English or French effectively.
