The global Youth As Researchers (YAR) Covid-19 initiative calls for young people to engage in research on the impact of Covid-19 and the youth response and change to address these challenges. UNESCO, in partnership with the National University of Ireland Galway and Pennsylvania State University, is organising this project to help young people conduct research through training, mentoring and project coordination.
UNESCO is looking for young candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Age from 18 to 35
- Interested in research work, previous research experience is an advantage
- Internet access
- Commit to spending up to 10 hours per week from July to October on the project (expected)
- Interested in development issues
- Use English or French effectively
