Dissolve some centers and establish new research centers.

On October 11, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – signed decisions regarding the dissolution of several centers.- Decision No. 2192 dissolved the Center for Population, Environment and Social Issues Research. - Decision No. 2193 dissolved the Center for Gender and Development Studies. - Decision No. 2194 dissolved the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies. - Decision No. 2195 dissolved the Center for World Trade Organization (WTO) and International Issues Studies. On the same day, the Rector also signed decisions on the establishment of new research centers under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: - Decision No. 2196 establishing the Center for Gender, Population, Environment and Social Issues Research. - Decision No. 2197 establishing the Center for Research and Application of Culture and Arts. - Decision No. 2198 establishing the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture. - Decision No. 2199 establishing the Center for Asia-Pacific and International Issues Studies. The newly established research centers operate according to the Regulations on Organization and Operation approved by the Rector.
