On October 15, 2012, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh – the Rector of the University – signed decisions to dismiss and appoint staff members.Decisions on dismissing officials:
- Decision No. 2228 agrees to allow Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thanh Hung to relinquish his position as Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature in order to focus on his professional work within the Faculty.
- Decision No. 2230 agrees to relieve Ms. Trinh Le Anh of her position as Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies so that she can focus on her professional work within the Faculty.
Decisions regarding personnel appointments:
- Decision No. 2229 appoints Dr. Pham Xuan Thach - Deputy Head of the Department of Art Studies under the Faculty of Literature - to the position of Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature, continuing the term 2010 – 2015.
- Decision No. 2231 appoints Mr. To Quang Long, lecturer in the Faculty of Tourism Studies, to the position of Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, for the term 2010-2012.
- Decision No. 2232 appoints Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector, to concurrently hold the position of Director of the Center for Asia-Pacific and International Studies at the University.
- Decision No. 2233 appoints Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Con, Head of the Department of Linguistics, to concurrently hold the position of Director of the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture at the University.
