International Workshop "ASEAN Journalism: Comparative Perspectives"

The workshop will focus on discussing the following main topics:

• An overview of the formation and development of ASEAN journalism.
• Identify the fundamental similarities and differences between the press of different countries.
• An analysis of the ASEAN vision and the new challenges and opportunities for the press in each country and the region as a whole.
• Outline of ideas, goals, and operational methods for the development of journalism across the ASEAN region to a higher level, fostering closer cooperation for a prosperous ASEAN Community.
