The second round of the 2012 postgraduate entrance exams has concluded.

On September 8-9, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its second postgraduate entrance examination for 2012. This year, the university organized the examination in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Ha Tinh.In addition to recruiting students for its own postgraduate programs, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) is also tasked by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) with recruiting postgraduate students in the social sciences and humanities for other VNU training units such as the Faculty of Law, the University of Education, the Institute for Quality Assurance in Education, and the Center for Training Lecturers in Political Theory… Over 2000 candidates participated in the postgraduate entrance exam at USSH. This was also the first year that USSH participated in training 16 doctoral programs under Project 911 of the Ministry of Education and Training on “Training lecturers with doctoral degrees for universities and colleges in the period 2010-2020”. Currently, USSH has 54 postgraduate programs, attracting a considerable number of students annually. The university is also a pioneer in training many postgraduate programs nationwide. During the past academic year, the School developed postgraduate training programs in three specializations: Anthropology, Film Arts, and Aesthetics, which are currently under evaluation by Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and two doctoral programs in Science and Technology Management and Religious Studies, which are in the final stages of completion. The postgraduate entrance exam grading process began on September 11th, and results are expected to be announced at the end of September.
