The Admissions Counseling Board of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will answer supplementary admissions counseling questions from August 25th to 31st, 2012. Reference:

Regarding the deadline for submitting application documents.

Spring BN@ 19:38, August 27, 2012 I scored 21.5 on the university entrance exam for Group C and I really want to apply for supplementary admissions, but the school I applied to (Police Academy) hasn't sent me my score report yet (according to the school's response, the report won't be available until after September 2nd). Meanwhile, the deadline for submitting applications is August 29th. So, could you please extend the application deadline by a few days? This would give us a better chance of being considered for admission. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to 5 PM on September 7, 2012, at the request of the Ministry of Education and Training, and all schools must comply. The reason is that many candidates have not yet received their score reports from the schools, so the deadline had to be postponed.

I also researched the supplementary admissions process and found that all candidates with the same total score have equal opportunities. So, I would like to ask: suppose by the deadline of September 7th, there are 20 students with the same total score of 21.5, and no one scores higher, how will the school consider adjusting the quota for this department? Will the school increase the quota for Block C students by 10 and decrease the quota for Block D students by 10? Or will they not accept any Block C students at all? I hope you can answer my question. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.

The school must adhere to two principles in the supplementary admissions process: 1. Accept applications based on the announced scores, selecting from highest to lowest scores until all quotas are filled. 2. Do not exceed the announced quotas. Currently, all 8/8 supplementary admissions programs are experiencing a situation where many applicants have the same score. For example, as of August 31, 2012, the Sociology program (Block C) has 5 quotas, but at the highest score of 21.5 points, there were 9 applicants. Similarly, the Linguistics program (Block C) has 10 quotas, and candidates from number 3 to number 24 on the list have the same score of 21.5 points. In these situations, if the school were to recruit exactly the announced quota, it would certainly result in exceeding the quota. Therefore, the school's admissions committee had to wait until September 7th, 2012, and review the final list before making a final decision.

Regarding the absence of updated records on the website...

Regarding the withdrawal and transfer of application documents.

According to the regulations, if I were you, I would withdraw the submitted application (but before 5 PM on September 4th, 2012, because withdrawals are not allowed after that deadline) and then resubmit it (but before 5 PM on September 7th, 2012, because submissions are not allowed after that deadline). Of course, remember to prepare an additional 15,000 VND to resubmit. Why couldn't I figure that out? It's easy!

So, when withdrawing my application and applying to another program at the same university, do I need to use my new results certificate? Because I've already submitted my remaining results certificate to another university.

You can just use the documents you already submitted to transfer them. However, please choose carefully because all majors have high admission scores and a large number of applications, but the number of available places is insufficient to meet all the demand.

I can't answer your question because the B-block at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities only accepts students into Psychology, and that major doesn't have any supplementary admissions. For other universities, you'll have to ask around, just like you're asking here.

Candidates applying for supplementary admissions (what I call second-choice admissions) must submit their applications in person; there's no such thing as registering online and then submitting the documents later. Please refer to the article "Supplementary Admissions 2012" on the admissions website for detailed regulations on this matter.

Besides applicants who submit their applications in person, there are also applicants who submit their applications by mail. When you see your application number at 600, but the post office is delivering more than that number at the time, it's obvious that by the time you check the website, it will be over 1000.
