Television Broadcasting Professional Training Course (April 2013)

• Study location: Studio on the 3rd floor of building H, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi

1. SubjectAll individuals interested in participating in the course are welcome.

2. ObjectivesUpon completion of the course, students will have grasped the basic theoretical knowledge of television and mastered the professional skills to produce a television program. Specifically, the following will be covered:

+ Scripts and television scripts; television program production process; television journalism genres; television terminology.

+ Techniques for shooting basic television genres such as news, documentaries, music videos, etc. Students will practice shooting on modern video cameras.

+ Non-linear film editing techniques and commonly used computer graphics and special effects programs.

+ Practical training time accounts for 70%.

3. LecturersThey are experienced and reputable lecturers and journalists from Vietnam Television and VTC.

4. Study time14 sessions. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

5. Register for the courseApplications will be accepted until April 28, 2013 at Room 411, Building C, Center for Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.

The registration documents include:

- Registration form (obtain and fill out the form at the Center)

- Copy of student ID/university diploma/copy of identity card.

- 2 photos measuring 3 x 4 cm (taken within the last 3 months)
