Announcement of Student Exchange Program with Credit Recognition at Kunming University of Metallurgy, China

This program is open to all students and trainees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the recruitment for the Student Exchange Program – Credit Recognition at Kunming Metallurgical Vocational University, China, as follows:
1. Eligibility Criteria:
Students and trainees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are not subject to criminal prosecution or currently under disciplinary action at the level of suspension from studies.
2. Program
- Duration: 1 month (Estimated time for study and hands-on experience in China)from June 8th to June 15th, 2026.
- Program content: learning and exchanging ideas about the history and multi-ethnic culture of Yunnan Province, China; visiting jade carving technology, experiencing robots, exploring ancient towns and night markets, enjoying spectacular shows at the Kunming Center, visiting Zitao Jianshui Purple Pottery Village, where one of the four most famous types of pottery in China is produced.
- Upon completion of the program, students will be considered for credit recognition equivalent to one elective course (2-4 credits) or one supplementary skills course (3 credits) within the training program.
- Program participation fee: 12,500,000 VND/participant (Twelve million five hundred thousand Vietnamese Dong), applicable for groups of 30 or more students.
* The above cost includes: Transportation by car (from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi to Kunming Metallurgical Vocational University and from Honghe Academy back to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi), tuition fees, dormitory, insurance, round-trip shuttle service to visit Kunming Old Town, tickets to the art performance in Kunming, shuttle service to visit Jianshui Pottery Village, high-speed train tickets from Kunming to Mengzi, state taxes as per regulations, and delegation management fees.
* The cost does not include: Visa, meals, SIM card/phone top-up, and other personal expenses.
3. Application documents:
- Application form for participation in the program (using the template and with confirmation from a family representative);
- Application form for studying/exchanging abroad (using the form certified by the Faculty you are currently attending);
- Copy of student/trainee ID card;
- Copy of identity card/citizen's ID;
- Original passport valid for more than 6 months, with at least 3 blank visa pages;
- For first-time departures or passports with birth dates in southern/central Vietnam or abroad, additional documents required include a scanned copy of the household registration book or the original CT07, CT08 residence confirmation certificate.
- Two passport-sized photos (4 x 6 cm) with a white background, no smiling, no glasses, neat hair, and forehead visible, taken within the last 3 months (write your full name, date of birth, and place of birth on the back of each photo).
4. Deadline for submitting applications and program fees: Before April 29, 2026.
