Announcement regarding the acceptance of applications for the second round of regular university admissions in 2015.

Based on Official Letter No. 3100/ĐHQGHN-ĐT dated August 25, 2015, from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the approval of the plan for the second round of regular university admissions in 2015, the Admissions Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the plan for the second round of regular university admissions in 2015 as follows:

1. Eligibility for application

Candidates participated in the first and second rounds of the 2015 university-level aptitude test organized by Hanoi National University.

2. Admission quotas and minimum scores for application submission.

(*) Includes priority points for eligible groups and regions (if any).

Note:Based on the number of candidates registering for the second round of admissions to each major and the number of students actually enrolled in the first round, the Admissions Council may adjust the allocation of quotas among majors to suit the actual situation within the total quota of the university.

3. Registration for admission

3.1 Application documents

3.2 Submitting application documents

– Direct submission: Candidates can submit their applications during office hours on weekdays (including Saturdays and Sundays) at the Training Department of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Room 604, Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).

– Submit by express mail: Candidates should send their application documents to the following address:Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities(No. 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).

3.3 Application fee:30,000 VND per application.

– Candidates submitting applications by mail should pay the application fee through the postal service.self-payservice.

– Candidates who submit their applications in person should pay the application fee at the designated application collection point.

3.4 Application submission periodFrom August 26, 2015 to 5:00 PM on September 1, 2015.

Note:The list of registered candidates will be updated at 8:00 PM daily from August 27, 2015 to August 31, 2015.

4. Admission methods

– The list of admitted candidates for each major is determined by the total score from the aptitude test and priority points for eligible candidates and regions (if any), from highest to lowest until all quotas are filled.

– Each candidate may register for admission to 3 majors at the University in order of priority. If they are not admitted to their first priority major, they will be considered for their second and third priority majors if those majors still have available slots.

5. Regulations for candidates when registering for admission

– During the application submission period, candidates are not allowed to submit applications to two training units within the Vietnam National University, Hanoi simultaneously.

– During the specified application period, candidates are allowed to withdraw their application once to adjust their registered major or to register at another training unit within VNU. Candidates who withdraw their application will not be refunded the application fee.

Note:Candidates withdrawing their application must bring their national identity card or other photo identification. If a family member comes to withdraw the application, in addition to the identification document, they must bring the candidate's application submission confirmation slip.(Candidates can download the application withdrawal form here)

6. Deadline for announcing admission results

On September 5, 2015, the school announced the results of the second round of admissions on its website:http://tuyensinh.ussh.edu.vn.
