Announcement regarding the need for appointments to the titles of Professor and Associate Professor in 2013

In accordance with Decision No. 174/2008/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2008, of the Prime Minister on the promulgation of regulations on standards and procedures for appointing and dismissing professors and associate professors;

Based on Circular No. 16/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated July 17, 2009, of the Ministry of Education and Training, which details the procedures for recognizing, revoking, appointing, and dismissing professors and associate professors;

Based on Decision No. 20/2012/QD-TTg dated April 24, 2012 of the Prime Minister on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the "Regulations on standards and procedures for appointing and dismissing professors and associate professors" issued together with Decision No. 174/2008/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2008 of the Prime Minister;

Based on Circular No. 30/2012/TT-BGDĐT dated September 11, 2012, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, amending and supplementing several articles of Circular No. 16/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated July 17, 2009, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, which details the procedures for considering, revoking, and appointing or dismissing professors and associate professors;

Based on the strategic development plan of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi announces the number of professors and associate professors to be appointed to the following disciplines:

The registration documents include:

• Application form for appointment to professor or associate professor positions (according to the mẫu form issued by the State Council for Professor Titles);
• The decision to recognize someone as having met the standards for the title of professor or associate professor is issued by the Chairman of the State Council for Professor Titles.
• Official letter requesting appointment from the Faculty/Department; Minutes of Faculty/Department meetings.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will begin accepting applications for the appointment of Professors and Associate Professors in 2013 from November 25th, 2013 to November 29th, 2013 at the Personnel Department (Room 602 - Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).
