* Some specific standards:- Regarding educational qualifications:
- Holds a doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Those without a doctoral degree must meet one of the following conditions: + Hold a master's degree (and graduated with honors from a regular university program at a public university), and be currently pursuing doctoral studies in a relevant field. + Hold a master's degree in a field relevant to the position being recruited for (and graduated with honors from a regular university program at a public university).
Note:
- Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and be no older than 50 years of age.
- Applicants must hold a master's degree and be no older than 33 years of age.

2. RECRUITMENT METHOD: Competitive examination
2.1. Common exam subjects for all three categories:
* General knowledge test:
- Exam duration: 120 minutes.
- Examination format: Written test.
- Examination content: Understanding of civil servant laws; the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws on the Vietnamese education system and higher education; standards for ranks and grades within the education system and the rank to be held; knowledge of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; knowledge of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; and basic knowledge of the recruitment field or sector.
* Foreign Language Subject:
- Exam duration: 120 minutes.
- Examination format: Written test.
Candidates must take an exam in one of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese, or another foreign language suitable to the requirements of the job position (Exemptions from foreign language and computer skills exams are in accordance with Article 8 of Government Decree No. 29/2012/ND-CP dated April 12, 2012).
- For Lecturers and Researchers: Level C qualification.
- For the Specialist category: Level B qualification.
2.2. Separate examination subjects for each category
* Specialized subjects/professional skills:
- For the Lecturer category: + Examination content: Teaching a portion of the assigned subject matter, handling situations during teaching, and demonstrating knowledge related to the assigned subject. + Examination format: Oral examination.
- For the Researcher/Specialist category: + Examination content: Knowledge, professional skills, and problem-solving abilities related to the assigned position. + Examination format: Oral examination.
* Computer Science:
- For the Lecturer category: + Exam content: Applying skills in using Word and PowerPoint to prepare and design lectures. + Exam format: This content will be assessed when the candidate presents their professional exam.
- For the Researcher and Specialist positions: + Examination content: Knowledge and skills in document management and drafting in general, document drafting skills related to the assigned field, and the application of information technology in managing and handling assigned tasks. + Examination format: Practical examination on a computer.
3. FILE

- Diplomas, transcripts for the entire course of study, professional and vocational certificates, computer skills certificates, foreign language certificates (those who studied abroad need confirmation and evaluation from the Vietnamese Embassy during their time studying in that country; all diplomas and certificates must be translated into Vietnamese and notarized).
- Photocopies of documents proving the completion of scientific research projects.
- Two 4 x 6 cm photos (taken within 6 months of the application submission date).
