2012 Finance Conference

On November 28, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its 2012 financial conference. Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa – Vice Rector of the University – chaired the conference.The conference was attended by representatives from the leadership of the Faculties/Departments, functional departments and centers under the University, and financial and administrative staff from various units. The conference heard reports summarizing the University's financial activities in 2012; the payment situation and some outstanding issues in the settlement of expenses in various units; and a report on proposed adjustments and additions to some contents of the Internal Expenditure Regulations. Representatives from the units exchanged and discussed key issues such as: amendments and additions to some contents of the Internal Expenditure Regulations; general principles in financial operations; some procedures and processes for advances and payments of expenses; and settlement of expenses for teaching staff… The opinions exchanged were then fully addressed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa and representatives from the Planning and Finance Department. The Vice Rector affirmed that the opinions of the relevant units regarding financial activities and the specific practical situation at each unit will be further considered and adjusted accordingly in the future.
