On October 5, 2012, the Hanoi Social Insurance Agency issued Official Letter 3001/BHXH-NVGĐ1 regarding the announcement of medical facilities accepting initial medical examination and treatment registrations for individuals whose cards were issued by the Hanoi Social Insurance Agency in 2013.According to this document, the Hanoi City Social Insurance temporarily announces the following list of facilities accepting initial registration for medical examination and treatment in 2013 for individuals with health insurance cards issued by the Hanoi City Social Insurance:
1. Principles of initial medical examination registration
- Individuals participating in health insurance residing or working within a district, county, or town may choose to register for initial medical examination and treatment at healthcare facilities at the commune, district, or equivalent level, or at hospitals within that district, county, or town, or in neighboring districts, counties, or towns, depending on the distance between their residence or workplace and the healthcare facility for convenience. - Individuals participating in health insurance with a medical record issued by Friendship Hospital, the City's Committee for the Protection and Care of Cadre Health, those with meritorious service to the revolution, those aged 85 and above, and children under 6 years old who need it may register for initial medical examination and treatment at healthcare facilities at the provincial level or equivalent or higher, depending on their residence or workplace, for convenience when receiving health insurance coverage. - For hospitals contracted by the Center for Health Insurance Assessment & Multi-Route Payment and for voluntary health insurance participants, the guidelines in Official Letter No. 1949/BHXH-NVGĐ1 dated June 18, 2012, from the Hanoi Social Insurance Agency shall be followed. - For students registering for initial medical examination and treatment, the guidelines in Official Letter No. 2457/BHXH-NVGĐ1 dated August 13, 2012, from the Hanoi Social Insurance Agency regarding the announcement of the list of medical facilities accepting initial registration for students in the 2012-2013 academic year shall be followed.
2. List of facilities accepting initial medical examination and treatment registration
- List of medical facilities accepting initial registration for all individuals (Appendix 1). Note that some medical facilities are not capable of providing medical examination and treatment for children under 6 years old or are only capable of providing medical examination and treatment for individuals over 15 years old. - List of hospitals at the city level and above (Appendix 2): accepting initial registration for medical examination and treatment for individuals participating in health insurance with medical records issued by Friendship Hospital, City Health Management Department for Cadres, war veterans, people aged 85 and above, children under 6 years old, National Assembly representatives, People's Council representatives, retirees, and social welfare beneficiaries. - List of health clinics for officials under the management of Hanoi City (Appendix 3): Accepts initial registration for health insurance for eligible individuals according to Guidance No. 52/HD/BTCTW dated December 2, 2005, of the Central Organization Committee and Guidance No. 161-HD/BTCTU dated December 7, 2007, of the Hanoi City Party Committee's Organization Committee. Individuals must have a medical record book issued by the Hanoi City Department of Officials' Health Management and register at the health clinics for officials in their respective areas. - List of agency and school health facilities (Appendix 4): Accepts initial registration for health insurance for individuals under the management of their respective units.
