The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) announces regular university enrollment in 2024 for foreigners with the following contents:

II. Conditions for training admission
-Graduated from high school or equivalent (recognized by Vietnam), meeting the admission requirements of VNU and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities;
- Have sufficient Vietnamese proficiency to meet the study and research requirements of the training program for which you are applying, specifically meeting one of the following requirements:
+ Have a Vietnamese language certificate equivalent to Level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners issued by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
+ Have a university degree in Vietnamese language/major.
+ Have a high school/intermediate/college/university/master's/doctoral degree with Vietnamese as the language of study.
- Be healthy enough to study and research in Vietnam. After arriving in Vietnam, international students must have a health check at the VNU Hospital or at a medical facility designated by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In case of contracting dangerous infectious diseases as prescribed by Vietnamese law or not being healthy enough to study, they must return home.
- Age requirements for international students under the Agreement are implemented in accordance with international treaties of which Vietnam is a member. There are no age restrictions for international students outside the Agreement.
- Have sufficient financial capacity to ensure study, research, internship and living in Vietnam during the corresponding study period;
- Clear personal history, not serving a criminal sentence, not violating the laws of Vietnam and the host country; commitment to enter the country for the purpose of studying.

III. Admission method and time
3.1. Application form: International students submit soft copy of application via email:study@ussh.edu.vnand hard copy documents to the address:Training Department – International Training Department, Room 207, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Thanh Xuan Trung, Hanoi, Vietnam.
3.2. Document requirements:
- Application form
- Notarized copy and English or Vietnamese translation of high school diploma and transcript. Diplomas issued outside of Vietnam require consular legalization.
- Notarized copy of Vietnamese language certificate with minimum level 4 according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam orHave graduated from university or equivalent level or higher with the training program taught in Vietnamese.See Appendix 1 –List of Vietnamese language certificate granting institutions recognized for master's and doctoral admissions at VNU.
-Study plan
- Health certificate issued by a competent medical facility of the sending country or a provincial, municipal or central medical facility of Vietnam certifying good health for study, issued no more than 06 months from the date of application submission.
- Copy of financial documents proving financial resources for study, research and living in Vietnam.
- Copy of passport valid for the entire period of study in Vietnam or at least 01 year from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam.
- 4x6 photo
(Must submit 03 sets of documents including 01 original and 02 photocopies)

IV. Some other information:
4.1. About professional orientation:
a) Oriental Studies:The Oriental Studies training program includes three majors: Indian Studies, Thai Studies and Chinese Studies. After the first semester, the Oriental Studies Department will divide the majors for first-year Oriental Studies students based on their wishes and learning results in the first semester, giving priority to students with HSK and HSKK level 3 or higher language proficiency certificates for Chinese Studies, Thai proficiency certificates for Thai Studies, and international English certificates for Indian Studies.
b) Other training programs/majors:Divide the major orientation for students in the 4th year of study (students choose the major orientation according to their personal professional needs and the orientation of the training unit):
