NOTE FOR CANDIDATES:
1. When registering for admission, pay special attention to the preferential policies in the admissions process to avoid registering for the wrong category. If a candidate is admitted, all information registered as a preferential category on the admissions portal must be substantiated with specific documents upon enrollment.
2. Regulations on prioritizing Zone 1 in Master's degree admissions include: Communes in Zones I, II, and III of ethnic minority and mountainous regions according to current regulations; particularly disadvantaged communes in coastal and island areas; particularly disadvantaged communes, border communes, and safe zone communes included in the investment scope of Program 135 as stipulated by the Prime Minister. (as stipulated in Decisions No. 447/QD-UBDT dated September 19, 2013, Decision No. 68/QD-UBDT dated March 19, 2014, and Decision No. 601/QD-UBDT dated October 29, 2015, of the Minister and Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities; Decision 73/QD-UBDT dated February 29, 2016, of the Minister and Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities on adjusting Zones I, II, and III of ethnic minority and mountainous regions.)

3. Regarding foreign language requirements for master's and doctoral admissions:

3.1 For master's degree applicants: Add the following to the list of candidates exempt from the Foreign Language exam if they possess a B1 English certificate from the following educational institutions:

+ University of Foreign Languages, VNU Hanoi
+ University of Foreign Languages, Hue University
+ University of Foreign Languages, University of Da Nang
+ Hanoi University
Ho Chi Minh City University of Education
+ Hanoi University of Education (certificate issued from May 15, 2019)
+ Can Tho University (certificate issued from May 15, 2019)
+ Thai Nguyen University (certificate issued from May 15, 2019)
3.2 For candidates applying for doctoral programs: the foreign language entrance requirements are applied according to Circular 08/2017/TT-BGDĐT dated April 4, 2017, of the Minister of Education and Training and the current regulations on doctoral training of Hanoi National University, specifically:
