Announcement of admissions for the high-quality psychology training program, cohort Qh-2024-X

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) announces the admission plan for the high-quality training program in Psychology, cohort QH-2024-X, in accordance with the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The specific details are as follows:
1. Admission quotas:
30 quotas, allocated to the following admission methods:

If the number of candidates applying through the above methods is less than the approved quota, the remaining quota will be transferred to the remaining admission method.
2. Admission requirements
2.1. With methods 301 and 303:
  • Students who won first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student selection exam or the national science and technology competition at the high school level have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024.
  • Students who won first, second, or third prize in the provincial/city-level excellent student selection exams; the excellent student selection exams; and the Olympic exams of Vietnam National University, Hanoi have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024.
  • Students applying through methods 301 and 303 must meet one of the following three conditions: + Have a score of 8.0 or higher in the English exam of the 2024 high school graduation exam;
+ Have an average English score of 8.0 or higher in each year of high school;
+ Possess an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher, or other equivalent international language certificates.
2.2Using the 401 method:
Students who achieve a score of 100 or higher on the Vietnam National University, Hanoi's High School Student Assessment Exam (HSA) have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 and meet one of the following three conditions:
+ Have a score of 8.0 or higher in the English exam of the 2024 high school graduation exam;
+ Have an average English score of 8.0 or higher in each year of high school;
+ Possess an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher, or other equivalent international language certificates.
2.3. Using method 408:
Students who have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 and have achieved a score of 1140/1600 or higher in the entrance exam;
2.4. Using method 409:
Students who have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 and meet the following two conditions:
  1. Applicants must have an IELTS certificate with a score of 6.0 or higher, or other equivalent international certificates.
  2. Applicants must have a total admission score of 27.00 points or higher under method 409.
2.5. With method 100:
Students have been admitted and enrolled at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.regardless of the major you were admitted to.) must meet the following two conditions:
a. Having achieved a score of at least the following minimum points in the admission test combination:

b. Having an English test score that meets one of the following three conditions:
+ Achieved a score of 8.0 or higher in the English exam of the 2024 high school graduation exam; + Achieved an average English score of 8.0 or higher in each year of high school.
+ Possess an IELTS certificate with a score of 5.5 or higher, or other equivalent international language certificates.
3. Selection process
  • Methods 301 and 303:
+ Candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest based on their achievements and awards received until the quota is filled.
+ In case there are multiple students with the same achievement, priority will be given in the following order: (1) IELTS results or other equivalent international certificates, (2) high school English exam scores, (3) overall average score in English.
  • Methods 401 and 408:
+ Candidates will be selected from highest to lowest scores until all available slots are filled.
+ In case of a tie in scores, priority will be given in the following order: (1) IELTS results or other equivalent international certificates, (2) High school English exam scores, (3) overall average score in English.
  • Method 409:
Candidates will be selected from highest to lowest scores based on their IELTS certificate or other equivalent international certificates until all available slots are filled.
+ In cases where multiple students have the same certificate score, priority will be given to the student with the highest total admission score according to method 409.
  • Method 100:
+ Candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest based on the total admission score for each subject group.
+ In case of a tie in scores, priority will be given in the following order: (1) IELTS results or other equivalent international certificates, (2) High school English exam scores, (3) overall average score in English.
* If the number of students admitted through the above methods is still less than the quota, the remaining quota will be transferred to the remaining admission method according to the Decision of the Admissions Council, based on the following order of priority:
Priority 1:Students with an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher will be considered (ranked from highest to lowest). If there are still vacancies in priority 1, priority 2 will be considered.
Priority 2:Average GPA in English + English exam score in the 2024 high school graduation exam (ranked from highest to lowest).
