In case the number of candidates admitted by the above methods is less than the approved quota, the remaining quota will be transferred to the remaining admission method.
2. Admission requirements
2.1. With method 301, 303:
- Students who won first, second, and third prizes in the national excellent student selection exam or the national high school science and technology competition were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024.
- Students who won first, second, and third prizes in the provincial/municipal excellent student selection contest; excellent student selection contest, and VNU Olympic contest have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024.
- Students registering for methods 301 and 303 must meet one of the following three conditions: + Have an English score in the 2024 high school graduation exam of 8.0 or higher;
+ Have an average English score of 8.0 or higher for each year of high school;
+ Have IELTS English certificate from 5.5 or other equivalent international language certificates.
2.2With method 401:
Students with a score of 100 or higher on the VNU High School Aptitude Test (HSA) have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 and meet one of the following three conditions:
+ Have an English score in the 2024 high school graduation exam of 8.0 or higher;
+ Have an average English score of 8.0 or higher for each year of high school;
+ Have IELTS English certificate from 5.5 or other equivalent international language certificates.
2.3. With method 408:
Students who have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 and have exam results of 1140/1600 or higher;
2.4. With method 409:
Students who have been admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 and meet the following 2 conditions:
- Have IELTS certificate of 6.0 or higher or other equivalent international certificates.
- Total admission score according to method 409 is from 27.00 points or higher.
2.5. With method 100:
Students have been admitted and enrolled in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (regardless of major) meets the following 2 conditions:
a. Have an exam score according to the admission combination reaching the following score level or higher:

3. Admission process
+ Consider from high to low according to achievements until the quota is filled.
+ In case there are many students with the same achievement, priority will be given in the following order: (1) IELTS results or other equivalent international certificates, (2) High School English exam scores, (3) average English score.
+ Consider from high to low according to test scores until the quota is full.
+ In case there are many students with the same score, priority will be given in the following order: (1) IELTS results or other equivalent international certificates, (2) High School English exam scores, (3) average English score.
+ Considered from high to low according to IELTS certificate or other equivalent international certificate until the quota is full.
+ In case there are many students with the same certificate score, priority will be given to students with a total admission score according to method 409.
+ Considered from high to low according to the total admission score of each admission block.
+ In case there are many students with the same score, priority will be given in the following order: (1) IELTS results or other equivalent international certificates, (2) High School English exam scores, (3) average English score.
* In case the number of students admitted by the above methods is still less than the quota, the remaining quota will be transferred to the remaining admission method according to the Decision of the Admissions Council, based on the following priority order:
Priority 1:Students with a foreign language certificate of 5.5 IELTS or higher (considered from top to bottom). If priority 1 still has vacancies, priority 2 will be considered.
Priority 2:Average score of English subject + English test score in high school graduation exam in 2024 (from top to bottom).
