Based on the philosophy "From research to exhibition," the thematic exhibition project "Dialogue with the Heritage of Terraced Rice Fields" is inspired by the book "Terraced Rice Fields in Vietnam - Conservation and Sustainable Development" by Dr. Nguyen Truong Giang (Department of Anthropology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities). The core scientific knowledge in the work, extracted and distilled by the author from numerous field trips, has provided valuable ideas for those involved in this exhibition. The thematic exhibition project will recount fascinating stories about terraced rice fields, showing that terraced rice cultivation is not only a means of livelihood but also a unique cultural heritage of the ethnic minorities in the highlands.
