1. Summary of science and technology activities in 2016 and the first months of 2017
- 1.1. Evaluate scientific publication work through the following indicators: number of research works published in domestic and international journals; number of monographs. List of statistics of scientific works published in the first months of 2017 by staff in the unit.
- 1.2. Evaluate the results of organizing and implementing scientific tasks (seminars, seminars; topics, projects at all levels; scientific research activities of young staff and students)
- 1.3. Evaluation of science and technology human resource development, building strong research teams and science and technology awards
- 1.4. Evaluate outstanding results, clearly describe scientific and practical values, shortcomings and propose solutions.
2. Develop a plan and budget for 2018
- 2.1. Proposing topics at VNU level: In addition to proposing topics that directly develop the industry and meet practical requirements, units with scientific potential (a team of professors, associate professors, and PhDs trained abroad) and strong research teams should develop at least 02 proposals with scientific products that are internationally published articles in the ISI/Scopus system. The remaining units should develop at least 01 proposal with scientific products in this form.
- Proposals for VNU-level topics must be sent to the Department of Scientific Research Management before the due date.26/4/2017(Wednesday),including proposal forms and summary forms (according to the attached form).
- 2.2. When proposing basic-level topics, the School will prioritize topics that contribute to improving the quality of master's theses and doctoral dissertations (with topic registration form attached).
- 2.3. Propose a plan to organize seminars and other scientific activities of the unit (with attached project). The school prioritizes seminars with the participation and funding of other units and aims for international publication.

- 2.4. Proposing other scientific tasks
- Propose projects to enhance research capacity.
- Proposing national science and technology tasks according to Official Dispatch No. 721/VNU-KHCN dated March 7, 2017 of VNU on proposing national science and technology tasks in 2018.
- Propose tasks on science and technology according to the protocol.
- Propose projects using development investment capital for science and technology to renovate, upgrade, build new or invest in basic construction for laboratories and research and development organizations.
