The seminar topics included: Current Vietnamese politics, economy, and society; Vietnam and regional powers; the role of extra-regional powers; Vietnam and multilateral institutions; Vietnam's role in regional cooperation and integration; new prospects in Vietnam-India relations; India-Vietnam political, security, and defense cooperation; development partnerships and value chains between Vietnam and India; India-Vietnam cooperation on non-traditional security issues; cultural, trade, and connectivity issues in India-Vietnam relations; environmental protection, climate change, resource conservation, and disaster preparedness.
The Embassy cordially invites Vietnamese scholars (who are proficient in English) to register for the workshops on the aforementioned topics and submit abstracts in English before April 30, 2017.
Scholars with well-written abstracts will be selected by the conference organizers and will have their airfare, accommodation, and travel expenses covered during their participation in the conference.
