The topics of the workshop include: Vietnam's current politics, socio-economy; Vietnam with regional powers; the role of extra-regional powers; Vietnam with multilateral institutions; Vietnam's role in regional cooperation and integration; new prospects in Vietnam-India relations; India-Vietnam political, security and defense cooperation; development partnership and value chain between Vietnam and India; India-Vietnam cooperation in non-traditional security issues; cultural, trade and connectivity issues in India-Vietnam relations; environmental protection, climate change, resource conservation and disaster preparedness.
The Embassy respectfully invites Vietnamese scholars (who can use English well) to register to attend the conference on the above topics and submit abstracts in English before April 30, 2017.
Scholars with good abstracts will be selected by the conference Organizing Committee and will be covered for airfare, accommodation, and travel during the scholar's participation in the conference.
