Request: University degree with a GPA of 8.0 or higher (above average grade of 8.0)

Form: Working on short-term contracts (usually 1 year, renewable). No social insurance or health insurance contributions.

Current remuneration: 27,000 VND / 1 daytime teaching session

Candidates will be selected and tested on their pedagogical skills in teaching English.

For the examination scheduled for early August 2008, candidates are required to design a lesson plan using the New Headway Elementary or Pre-Intermediate curriculum currently used at the school. Cassette players, CD players, and projectors provided by the Department may be used for the lesson. On the day of the examination, candidates must present their lesson plan and conduct a trial lesson (the examiners and other members will act as students), followed by answering questions from the examiners. Successful candidates will be notified and assigned teaching duties, starting immediately in the new academic year – September 2008.
