On August 6, 2008, the Conference on Training Assistants for Regular Undergraduate Programs was held, with discussions on managing course classes in credit-based training and implementing the training plan for the 2008-2009 academic year.
The conference agreed on the following points regarding the management of subject classes:
1. Managing course classes in credit-based training is the responsibility of the Training Department staff and training assistants of the units, ensuring that teaching and learning comply with regulations and professional requirements. Initially, this task will be carried out within the scope of 273 course classes of the QH-2007-X cohort in the first semester of the 2008-2009 academic year. After the end of the semester, the School will evaluate and draw lessons learned to implement this in subsequent semesters.
2. The Training Department assigns and guides training assistants in each unit; evaluates the work results of training assistants and informs the relevant units for use in labor evaluation and performance review.
3. Principles for assigning course management responsibilities: Courses belonging to a specific department will be managed by the training assistant of that department, but a balance must be maintained between the work within the faculty's scope and the general work of the university, avoiding overloading staff and ensuring sufficient personnel to carry out this task.
4. The Human Resources Department proposes issues related to the management of training assistants' work in this role and policies for staff.
5. Faculty leaders are responsible for clearly informing the teaching staff (including part-time and freelance lecturers) about changes in the way courses are managed to ensure effective coordination between teaching staff and support staff during the teaching and learning process.
