On August 25, 27 and 29, 2008, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a training course for academic advisors (AADs) of the QH-2008-X course. These will be teachers who will be responsible for advising and assisting the incoming students this year on all matters related to their studies as well as their daily lives.

The training content includes: key issues of CVHT work; differences in students' learning tasks; discussion of orientation course programs for students; course registration process and training plan for students on course registration; basic issues of the Regulations on credit-based undergraduate training at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

In the 2007-2008 school year, the CVHT work was assessed to have correctly identified and basically successfully carried out the main tasks of CVHT. The CVHT team promptly implemented the tasks assigned by the School, helping students to have better conditions to adapt to the new training method. And one of the important initial successes is that the school has realized the communication channels between CVHT and students, many CVHT have performed well the tasks of periodic and ad hoc counseling for students.

Entering the 2008-2009 school year, for the 2007 class, the task of CVHT work will focus on innovating the working method between CVHT and students in the direction of enhancing group and individual counseling by different methods. For the 2008 class, right from the beginning of the school year, CVHT will focus on supporting students in the skills of exploiting and using the Internet to effectively exploit information channels, guiding students to master the course registration process early so that students can be proactive in choosing courses.
