The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a large party committee within the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Currently, the Party Committee has 20 branches and over 300 party members. For the University's Party Committee, Party development is identified as a crucial political task. The training and development of party members aims to create a pool of successors for Party organizations, ensuring they possess the necessary capabilities, moral character, and political awareness to effectively carry out the tasks of the University's Party Committee. In accordance with the University's Party Committee's work plan, the University's Party Committee organized a Party awareness training course in 2015 for all outstanding Youth Union and Trade Union members from the various units.

To contribute to raising awareness of the Party among outstanding individuals, the School's Party Committee annually organizes a training program for those wishing to join the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). The goal of the course is to help Party members and cadres understand the purpose, ideology, political line, operating principles, and leadership process of the Party; the thoughts and moral example of Ho Chi Minh; and especially to understand the requirements and standards for joining the Party through the Party Charter.

Attending the opening ceremony of the training course were Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - Standing Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Party Committee's Organization Department; representatives from the School's Trade Union Executive Committee, the Youth Union Executive Committee, the Student Association, representatives from the Party Branches and Party Committees under the School's Party Committee, and 320 trainees who are outstanding cadres, union members, and trade union members participating in the course.

The class took place over two days, December 12-13, and covered the following topics:

1) An overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

2) Program for building the country during the transitional period to socialism.

3) Some basic contents of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

4) Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam and some basic contents on Party development work in the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Based on the knowledge gained from the course, the trainees will continue to study and delve deeper into the Party, thereby correctly identifying their motivations for striving and self-improvement to possess firm political acumen, pure revolutionary moral qualities, good academic and work results, and high professional competence, so that they may soon have the honor of joining the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
