320 students were trained in Party awareness.

The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a large Party Committee within the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Currently, the Party Committee has 20 Party cells and over 300 Party members. For the Party Committee of the University, Party development work is identified as an important political task. The training and development of Party members aims to create a source for Party organizations to build a successor force with sufficient capacity, moral qualities, and political awareness to perform well the tasks of the Party Committee of the University. Implementing the Party work plan of the Party Committee of the University, the Party Committee of the University organized a Party awareness training course in 2015 for all outstanding Union members and Trade Union members of the Union organizations and Trade Unions of the units.

To contribute to raising awareness of the Party among the elite masses, every year the School Party Committee organizes a training program for those who wish to join the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). The goal of the class is to help union members and cadres learn about the Party's purpose, ideology, political line, operating principles and leadership process; about Ho Chi Minh's ideology and moral example, especially learning about the requirements and standards for joining the Party through the Party's Charter.

Attending the opening ceremony of the class were Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - Standing Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Organization Board of the School Party Committee; representatives of the School Trade Union Executive Committee, the Youth Union Executive Committee, the Student Association, representatives of the Party Cell, the Party Committee of the School Party Committee and the presence of 320 students who are cadres, union members, and excellent union members attending the class.

The class takes place over two days, December 12-13, with the following content:

1) Overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, learning and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh.

2) Platform for national construction in the transitional period towards socialism.

3) Some basic contents of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

4) Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam and some basic contents on Party development work at the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Based on the knowledge content received from the class, the students will continue to research and learn more deeply about the Party, thereby correctly determining the motivation to strive and practice to have a strong political stance, pure revolutionary ethics, good study and work results, and high capacity and expertise to soon have the honor of standing in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
