Closing ceremony of the quality assessment of the training program of the University level Archival Studies

On January 9, 2020, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Assessment Expert Team of the Center for Education Quality Assessment under VNU-HCM held the Closing Ceremony and Announcement of the (Preliminary) Results of the Assessment of the Quality of the University-Level Training Program in Archival Studies (according to Circular 04/2016/TT/BGDĐT). The expert team includes: MSc. Ho Dac Hai Mien (Supervisor), Dr. Truong Chi Hien (Head of the Team), Dr. Huynh Kha Tu (Secretary), Dr. Dinh Ai Linh (Standing Member), Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Hong (Member), Dr. Duong Ngoc Hao (Member) and MSc. Nguyen Thanh Vuong (Professional Secretary).

Closing ceremony of the quality assessment of the training program of the University level Archival Studies

The closing ceremony and announcement of the results of the quality assessment of the evaluation program were attended by MSc. Ho Dac Hai Mien (Deputy Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment under the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal of the University), Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Head of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management) and representatives of the leaders of relevant functional units, the staff and lecturers of the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management.

The official survey took place from January 7, 2020 to January 9, 2020. With the working principle of "Objectivity - Accuracy - Quality and Efficiency", the Evaluation Team pointed out strengths, weaknesses and recommendations for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to develop solutions to ensure and improve quality.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal of the School) expressed her thanks to the Evaluation Team for their dedicated work and dedication over the past 3 days. The School acknowledged and will have a plan to improve the quality of the Archival Studies training program according to the recommendations of the Team.

MSc. Ho Dac Hai Mien - Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment under VNU-HCM (supervising the assessment) emphasized, "The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a pioneer and has a lot of experience in assessing the quality of educational institutions and training programs. Up to now, the University has been assessed for quality according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training at the training institution level and granted training programs for 4 training programs. Hopefully, in the coming time, the Center and the University will continue to carry out more cooperative activities in the field of quality assessment to contribute to improving the quality of education of the University in particular and of VNU-Hanoi in general.

                     Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa and Dr. Truong Chi Hien signed the preliminary minutes of the assessment.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Head of the Department of Archival Science and Office Management) acknowledged and accepted the evaluation conclusions of the Delegation; at the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude to the Evaluation Delegation, the School's Board of Directors, functional departments, the School's Education Quality Assurance Center and all lecturers and students of the Faculty for their efforts in the past time to complete the accreditation program. The Faculty will have a plan to resolve outstanding issues and implement activities to improve the quality of the Faculty's Archival Science training program.
