The scientific workshop on the topic "Nom script with Confucian classics" organized by the Center for Chinese Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) took place on August 24.The conference was attended by researchers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Institute of Han Nom Studies... The conference focused on clarifying a number of aspects and issues related to the reception, attitudes and localization process of Confucian classics by Vietnamese Confucian scholars. In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Rector of the University and Director of the Center for Chinese Studies emphasized: Based on the reality of examining Han Nom texts with Confucian content in the form of a mixture of Han and Nom scripts, the content, methods, goals... are quite rich and complex. Are they part of the general law of movement of East Asian Confucianism and the law of movement of Vietnamese culture and thought?...
