On August 14 and 15, 2011, we received nearly 50 questions from candidates and parents about registering for the second round of university entrance exams in 2011. Below are the general answers to questions sent before 7:30 p.m. on August 15. Questions sent after this time will be answered inthe following days, from August 15 to 11am August 20, 2011.The University of Social Sciences and Humanities enrolls students for the second choice nationwide. Regardless of the school they have taken the exam for, candidates with university entrance exam results from the scores listed below can submit applications for the second choice to the following majors: Sociology (A, C, D), Philosophy (A, C, D), Political Science (A, C, D), Literature (C, D), Linguistics (C, D), Information - Library (A, C, D), Han Nom (C, D), Anthropology (A, C, D), Literature Pedagogy (C, D). The scores for receiving applications for the second choice by each group are as follows: - Group A: 16 points - Group C and Group D: 17 points The scores for submitting applications for the above admission are for candidates in Region 3, High school students. The difference in admission scores between successive regions is 0.5 points, between groups of subjects is 1.0 point. The admission scores from high to low are determined by each block and the correlation between blocks within the general admission quota of the whole school. Some candidates asked whether a score of this level or that level would pass their second choice, but this cannot be answered before the deadline because it depends on the number of candidates registering for each major in each block and the scores of each candidate. The biggest advantage for candidates this year is that every day, at 9:00 a.m., the school will announce the list of candidates who submitted their application for admission the previous day on the school's website. Candidates should regularly monitor this list. Candidates should note that from August 25 to September 8, 2011, candidates can withdraw their submitted application (see specific instructions here), but from September 9, 2011, candidates cannot withdraw their submitted application because the deadline set by the Ministry of Education and Training has expired. Some people say that you should wait until September 8, 2011 to submit your application, but that choice is not guaranteed because from September 9 to September 15, 2011, no one knows for sure how many applications will be submitted. Regarding the Literature Pedagogy major: Students studying this major are exempt from tuition fees. Students study the first 3 years at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, study the final year at the University of Education and receive a diploma from the University of Education.
