The conference to review the union work of the 2010-2011 school year was held on August 25. The conference aimed to review the union work of the 2010-2011 school year, set out the direction of work for the 2011-2012 school year, and discuss and approve the Draft Regulations on Office Culture (3rd time).Attending the conference were Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - Member of the Executive Committee of the VNU Trade Union, representatives of the Trade Unions of the units... Representative of the Executive Committee of the University Trade Union, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Xuan Khang - Chairman of the University Trade Union - presented a summary report on the work of the trade union in the 2010-2011 school year. The report stated that in the past school year, the trade union had carried out many practical activities: Protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests and taking care of the lives of teachers and workers in the industry, building harmonious and stable labor relations, creating motivation to improve the quality and effectiveness of education and training, serving the industrialization and modernization of the country; building professional ethics and professional qualifications of the teaching staff and educational managers, in order to carry out the tasks of: Innovating, developing and improving the quality of education and training in the industry; Mobilize teachers and workers in the industry to actively participate in emulation movements and large-scale social campaigns to effectively carry out the industry's political tasks; innovate the organization, strengthen inspection work to improve the quality of staff...
In addition, the report also provided specific directions for the union work in the 2011-2012 school year as follows: First, the Union continues to direct union members to best implement the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; best implement the campaigns: Study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, the campaigns of the Industry and the Vietnam Education Industry Union. Second, to do better in political and ideological work in the context of complicated international developments, the domestic economy continues to face many difficulties, the lives of officials and civil servants have not improved much, especially for young officials. Third, to coordinate with the government to well implement the new action programs of the School: building a team of qualified officials, continuing to expand international standard training programs, creating high-quality scientific research products, and innovating university administration. Fourth, continue to do a good job of protecting legitimate rights and interests, taking care of the lives of civil servants, creating motivation to improve the quality and effectiveness of education and training, serving the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. Fifth, continue to promote the tradition of humanity, further promote social work in the spirit of mutual love and national solidarity. Next, the conference discussed in depth the third draft of the School's Office Culture Regulations. Many opinions were expressed to contribute to further improving the contents set forth in the regulations. In the past school year, the School's Trade Union as well as the Trade Unions of the units have performed their functions and tasks well, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the School's school year tasks. With those contributions, many collectives and individuals have been commended and awarded certificates of merit by union leaders at all levels: - 01 certificate of merit from the General Confederation of Labor for the School's Trade Union - 02 certificates of merit for collectives and 02 certificates of merit for individuals by the Chairman of the Vietnam Education Trade Union - 06 certificates of merit for collectives and 25 certificates of merit for individuals by the Chairman of the VNU Trade Union - 04 certificates of merit for collectives and 35 certificates of merit for individuals by the School's Trade Union Executive Committee.
