Meet the valedictorians on admission day
In the bustling and joyful atmosphere of new students on their first day of school, ussh.edu.vn reporter had a quick interview with the valedictorians of the 2010 university entrance exam. With radiant faces, the valedictorians enthusiastically shared their joy on their first day of school and their plans for the new school year that is about to begin. PV: How do you feel about today's admission session? Pham Minh Duyen(Valedictorian of Block C, Social Work major): My first impression when I entered the school gate was that the school was really magnificent. Unlike other schools, the paint color of the classrooms in my school is all bright yellow. If I had known, I would have worn a yellow outfit to stand out. Today, my father took me to school and moreover, there were 7 other classmates from Thai Binh Specialized School who were also admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, so I didn't feel strange.Pham Phuong Ly(Valedictorian of Block D, Journalism and Communications major): Having to go to school by myself at first felt a bit strange, but I found the admission ceremony really fun. Today I also met and got to know quite a few friends. AndNguyen Thi Bich Ngoc(Valedictorian of Block C, Oriental Studies major), after enrolling, I had to rush down to the dormitory to receive my accommodation and only had time to make an appointment to talk over the phone.

PV: What are your plans and projects for the future when studying in a new environment? Phuong LyLy said that after the admission ceremony, she was discussed with her homeroom teacher and planned to be elected to the class committee. Ly confided: I am very happy to participate in collective activities and organizations, but I am also a bit worried because I am still confused and also feel that my responsibilities will be greater. But I will try my best to not disappoint the trust of teachers and friends.Minh Duyen: I know the school has a high quality system, so I plan to take the exam for the high quality class of Management Science. I hope I will also have good academic results like my high school years.Bich Ngoc: For now, I want to settle down in my new environment. I will try to study well during the school year. I plan to learn more English and computer science to help me throughout my studies and future work.PV: Before entering school, did you learn about credit-based training at the school? Minh Duyen: I have also heard about credit-based training, but I have not had the conditions and opportunities to learn more about it. I hope that during the school year, the school will disseminate it more specifically and clearly.Phuong Ly: I have also learned and know that credit-based training will help students proactively arrange their time and can shorten their study time. Through further discussion, we learned that all three valedictorians during their high school years participated enthusiastically in class activities and were all excellent members of the class executive committee. Entering the university gate, they wish to continue participating in group activities to learn and accumulate a lot of knowledge as well as life skills and study methods at university. I wish the dreams, plans and projects of the valedictorians as well as the new students of K55 will soon come true with good results.
